After becoming an R.N. she pursued a career as a surgical nurse She was a cast member on the 90s network medical drama Chicago Hope while also serving as an associate producer and technical advisor for the series. Later, Klein portrayed Nurse Linda in all six seasons of the acclaimed FX drama Nip/Tuck, where she also acted as a medical consultant for the first three seasons and a producer for the fifth and sixth. She also has a recurring role as a nurse on the television show Grey's Anatomy.
