Biography
Harold Athol Lanigan Fugard (June 11, 1932 β March 8, 2025) was a South African playwright, novelist, actor and director. Widely considered South Africa's foremost playwright, he is best remembered for his anti-apartheid plays such as "Master Harold"...and the Boys and Blood Knot.
